Pete68 Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 (edited) I sold this truck to a very good friend of mine years ago and decided to see if I could get it back. He restores farm toys so Yesterday I traded some old Farm toys for this Model. When I sold it to him I had already painted the frame and cab one color. Yesterday I painted the top of the cab Mopar Stone White and also painted the engine and installed it painted the wheels sanded the tires and added them as well. Edited July 20, 2020 by Pete68

Vince66 Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 What color green is that on the cab Lee. Looks like this one's coming along very nicely.
Pete68 Posted July 19, 2020 Author Posted July 19, 2020 I can’t remember I painted it about 8yrs ago it’s a Mopar color the top is Mopar Stone White
Mopar - D Posted July 20, 2020 Posted July 20, 2020 Nice work on your Titan. I like your Mopar colors.
CRUSADER2 Posted July 20, 2020 Posted July 20, 2020 Great work on the cab interior, I can believe it took all day, I bet your eye's needed a rest after, the truck colour scheme is neat too, looking forward to seeing more.
Pete68 Posted July 20, 2020 Author Posted July 20, 2020 Got the wash done on the grill have to do some chrome touch up on it now
Pete68 Posted July 21, 2020 Author Posted July 21, 2020 Jim. Thanks for the complement glad you like it
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Looking great Lee! I like these old trucks too! I didn't like them back in the day though. Drivers used to say they felt like they were in a fish bowl with the big windshield in these.
Pete68 Posted July 25, 2020 Author Posted July 25, 2020 Thanks for the complement Brian. I rode in one these one time I back in the 1990s I was a little scared at first felt like I was going to fall face first out on the highway
leafsprings Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Looking forward to seeing this one completed. The contrast between the green and white on cab, frame, wheels plus the super detailing will make this one a stand out!
Pete68 Posted July 26, 2020 Author Posted July 26, 2020 Tom. Thanks for the complement I was fighting with the interior yesterday to make it fit I don’t remember the interior being so difficult. I have to make some more adjustments for the cab to set lower I was ready to give up on this but I’ll try to take another try at it
Mopar - D Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 Nice progress I’m sure you will figure out how to lower the cab.
Pete68 Posted July 27, 2020 Author Posted July 27, 2020 Thanks I might take a small break from this First to re group
