bisc63 Posted August 18, 2020 Posted August 18, 2020 Exactly! A scrap of photo-etch metal or flashing works well, and resists the sandpaper/file.

Oh man that sounds weird but can't think of better way to ask? Challenging but doable I think.

I have made plastic washers using this technique. I first punch the small hole, then I line up that hole in the center of the larger diameter punch die (eyeballing it), then I punch the larger hole. I end up with nice washers.
gotnitro? Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Meng sets are not resin..they attach just fine w everyday model glue like tamiya or testors . Masterclub i believe are resin
Mike999 Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 This review by master armor modeler Cookie Sewell says the MENG nuts & bolts are styrene. Several on-line vendors say they are plastic, so I guess they are. I assumed they were resin from the color and "feel" of the material. So another lesson about assuming there, I guess. http://www.missing-lynx.com/reviews/modern/mengsps008reviewcs_1.html
