gjorenby Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 What do you recommend for a high gloss clear coat over an enamel paint with numerous decals?
John Pol Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 2K clear automotive stuff that is all I use for my clear coats and I do alot of drag cars so they lots of decals
Jordan White Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 My go to is Rustoleum Wheel Clear coat, it has a great gloss, sprays easily, and is an acrylic so it goes over both enamels and lacquers.
OldNYJim Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 There’s, like, a thousand answers to this question...but I like Testors Enamel Clear - especially if I have some stuff to ‘bury’, because it’s high build and super glossy:

Unless you would like your white paint job to be yellow. Steve
