zakdoggi Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Built this a while ago and recently added the decals and surfboards. Made the decals and plates on my laser printer and the surfboards are carved from balsa wood with sheet plastic fins. Built as a slammer with Fujimi wheels and tires from the 1/25 scale Lindberg Dodge Caravan snap kit. Paint is Duplicolor. Enjoy!! Cheers....Geoff
Claude Thibodeau Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 Hi Geof! Nice. So, that's how you take on the waves down under? Proves there are many ways to skin a cat... CT

Spottedlaurel Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Nice one! Wheels look good on it, I think you've even used the big brake discs too? Is it based on something you've seen at 1:1?

The theme was purely from my imagination, turning the window sided Caravan into a Panel Van or Shaggin' Wagon as we call them here in Oz. Cheers....Geoff
kilrathy10 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 This is one cool model... Beautiful... Very creative....
Oldcarfan27 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Best use I've ever seen of that kit! Way to dazzle up such a dull ride. I didn't know that there were surfer soccer moms!
