Hello, friends of well-kept model making,
Today I'm going to show you a truck from the 1950s. It is a Büssing 8000 S13. At some point the Büssing brand was acquired by the somewhat larger company MAN. The little logo with the lion had to be retained; you can still see it on MAN trucks today.
Driving this truck was really tough back then. No servo support. Neither for brakes, steering or clutch!
I think it's something different from an American truck? I hope you like it a little? Thanks for looking.
Here are the pictures:

Hello jim
Thanks for your praise. I am glad that you like the model.
I checked it out. This company actually still exists and transports all kinds of goods. National and international long-distance transport. So Europe-wide.

Real nice job on that.   I like the paint work,  shiny but not show car shiny.   Like you would see on an old workhorse.   Looks ready for many years of use and abuse.

Many Thanks for your nice comments! That gives you the courage to keep going!

@TarheelRick: This one is a kit by Revell in scale 1:24. Check out the picture:

Your build looks awesome! I have always wanted to build one of these. I have heard so many good things about the kit.
