TimJ Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 This is my second finished build for the latest round of the BOYD. Started in 2013 it had languished on a dusty mantelpiece for several years until I got back to it a few weeks ago. alan barton Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 That is a really clean build of a great kit. Nice that you did the chrome trim around the hood vents, which a lot of people forget, but you did a rubber trim around the rear windows, which some people chrome when there is no chrome trim on a 37 rear window. Cheers Alan
doorsovdoon Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Very nice looking build, I like that colour. The diorama is great.
Spottedlaurel Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 It looks excellent Tim, you did a much better job than I did with mine. That colour is always going to please us UK modellers of a certain age.
espo Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Great looking little '37. As alan barton mentioned, you got the little bits of trim done correctly and that makes a big difference in the appearance to anyone that really knows the subject.
Dennis Lacy Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Nice, clean build of this kit. Like Alan said, nice to see someone get the trim correct on the hood and rear windows. I have one of these in the works right now so this is good inspiration to keep on it. ?
TimJ Posted October 4, 2020 Author Posted October 4, 2020 Thanks for the comments everyone. Nice to know I got the trim on the hood and rear window right. Dennis, I have been looking in on your build, it looks great so far.
