BIGTRUCK Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 When you combine a 1962 AMT Valiant with a AMT Nascar Monte Carlo , let the chopping begin. I had to chop the chassis into sections to use where needed, opening the hood and getting it to fit because of its thickness and engine being there plus fitting in a grille likeness. The rollbars , dash and seat was another issue because if the transmission location, so I had to cobble up tunnel then build the inside around it. A small thin sheet if tin was used to make a rear interior area cover. Tamiya paint and Tamiya weathering along with Vallejo tints and plenty of parts box items .
Tom Geiger Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Yea! Glad to see it finished! It looks great!
Sam I Am Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 That turned out really well. I keep a few of those old nascar chassis around for that exact purpose.
slusher Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Looks awesome! Something different and cool...
