afx Posted December 13, 2020 Author Posted December 13, 2020 Fabricated the rear brake cooling ducts. Cobbled together and not 100% accurate but I'll take it.
porschercr Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 I don't know about cobbled together, looks pretty good to me.

drodg Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 JC you are doing a great job. I am a Porsche 911 lover so enjoy the build.

Hey JC...well..I'm still working on my cousins 72 short tack Chevelle. Had to take a break on it as there were Life things that needed attended to. Now...I just went into the shop yesterday and started back on it and had to figure out where I was on the thinking part of the build. You know that took some time!! LOL. Once I get all the small things taken care of I'll post a WIP on it. Thanks for asking.

afx Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) Installed the engine bay surround from a damaged Fujimi body. Edited December 17, 2020 by afx
Tortuga Kustomz Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Uuuuuhhhhh, nice, can wait to see that engine there, are you going to hinge the hood?

afx Posted December 18, 2020 Author Posted December 18, 2020 Got the top half of the engine fitted. Using and engine from a built-up. I pick them up when I can find them cheap.
TransAmMike Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 JC, does this kit not have an engine top??
afx Posted December 18, 2020 Author Posted December 18, 2020 9 hours ago, TransAmMike said: JC, does this kit not have an engine top?? Mike this isn't a kit. I started with nothing more than a resin body. I'm using Fujimi Porsche 911 parts to complete the project along with some scratch building. I'm using a Fujimi curbside chassis that only includes engine detail for the lower half. The top half comes from another Fujimi Porsche 911 built-up I purchased awhile back.
