I guess this is technically "WIP" so I'll put it here.  I have a LOT of builds going at any given time (ADD will do that to you)....Anyhow, I use automotive catalyzed clear, and I don't want to waste any of it so I usually wait until I have two or three bodies then I shoot them at once. Somehow I found myself with a backlog of bodies waiting for clear, so I shot them a couple of weeks ago. Chassis are done and sitting there, so I have a bunch of finish work to do in the next few weeks! Four Bob Glidden cars, the WJ 442, and the Sox and Martin Cuda should all be wrapped up in the next month. I already have four others in process, so my bench is a little crowded.

The Mustang II has been banished, but these two are progressing nicely. I've never done this much foil on a build, but it's going pretty well. The Galaxie should be on it's feet by the weekend, and the 442 will need some surgery on the front half to get the stance right. The Sox and Martin car is nearly done but I have no pics. I'll post that one in a few days.

What happened to the Mustang?

Well...I started it a LONG time ago, and did a lot of things with the build that I am not happy with now. Now that I am getting to final assembly, the body came out great, but I can't bear to put it on that chassis that I have for it. So, it goes back into storage until I finish a few others and can focus on making it right. This one has fought me from the start. The first body I painted was for the all white Glidden car, but the red plastic bled through the paint and turned it pink. I found another body and started over on that part...now it's just frustrating me and I need to not look at it for a bit!
