charlie8575
When we moved in 2018, we 'lost" a lot of stuff because of dishonest movers, hired by dishonest lender that stole our home. Along with furniture, family photos and a bunch of other stuff, I think I lost at least a few models. At least I haven't been able to find them yet. A couple of weeks ago, I was on eBay looking for one of the models I believe to be lost, and got one at a great price. This Lindberg 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan LE was still factory sealed until earlier today when i opened it up to make sure everything was in order. And it is. The fun part is now going to be figuring out how to paint the red plastic grey for the cladding, and whatever color I decide to paint it in. I may do a red of some kind to make it easier. After all, isn't that the point of the 24-hour build...easy and fun? For obvious reasons, I won't be updating this too much for a couple of weeks. Figuring out colors. I'm leaning towards Iris, which is a purple-tinged very light grey, or Forest Green. Charlie Larkin
Modlbldr
Charlie, That looks like a perfect subject for the 24 hr build. I'm going to do the 24 hr build this year also. Was looking through my stash for a subject and pulled out about 8 options. I think I've landed on either the reissue of the MPC GTO funny car or the AMT/ERTL Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo. charlie8575
The Stealth would be cool simply for the different factor. Charlie Larkin
slusher
Charlie. I have built the Illinois state police van of one of these and this is a perfect 24 hr build choice".

On mine I just did the bumpers, as it is on my 1:1 Edited January 17, 2021 by Tom Geiger
