Demerovingian Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) Guys and Gals...The Pocher kit was a mere 20- 30 parts at best and it looked like a toy when assembled. Therefore I wanted to share what I did to it from a kit with some heavy modifications to attain a sense of realism. I know that a lot of this isn't exact to detail...but 90% of the people wont know the difference but its close...I wanted to capture as realistic as I could. Believe it or not...I used old MacBook Pro and Mac Pro screws, old parts from model kits, parts from a DVD player...Ethernet cables...and bits and pieces from all over to attain something a little different but close to the real engine. I'll post the top of the box so you can see what it was supposed to look like and all that I did...enjoy. Edited January 27, 2021 by Demerovingian misspell in title

89AKurt Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Love it! I'm sure the braided lines that Detail Master sells come from the same source.

Gluebomber Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Great Work! I've had this kit in my stash for a number of years and haven't been sure what to do with it. You may have inspired me to take another look at it. What was your source for the brass fittings?
