Speedpro Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 So i was digging through some old diecast stuff that i boxed up in the 90's and in the bottom of one of the box's was a shoe box with this in it. I thought to my self, " Wow, There's one i forgot about! ". It's a monogram tom daniel design stinger rear engine dragster. Built OOB but added plug wires and some fuel lines. The rubber blower belt is even still on it! When i get done building my models, they get put in the box the kit came in. I don't display any off my models. This build got put into a shoe box because it would not fit into the kit box being its to long. I was surprised how good it looks after not seeing the light of day in about 25 yrs. I have never shown this to anyone except my wife of 42 yrs. 1
Claude Thibodeau Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Hi Paul! Pleasant discovery! It is very well finished, and like your wife I suppose, it only got better with time! Bravo! CT
Dave Armstrong Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 (edited) Darn fine build! Looks great! Edited February 26, 2021 by Dave Armstrong bad word I guess
Bainford Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 Cool! A nice tidy build of this old kit. It's one I had forgotten even existed, and I'm sure I have never seen one built. Nice work.
John B. Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 Very nice! ? I had one of these when they first came out, but it didn't look anywhere near as nice as yours.
bisc63 Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 That's a cool build! I don't think I've ever seen one built; almost a forgotten Tom Daniel kit. Well done.
