NOBLNG Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Nice! Thats some tight quarters you’re working with there.?
carnut Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 32 Ford AWD Update: Interior coming together. Glass is now in.
carnut Posted May 14, 2021 Author Posted May 14, 2021 Update: I have made excellent progress. I got the glass in, I had to cut down the windshield which was nerve racking and I cut new quarter and rear windows out of real thin clear Evergreen. I also finally got the floor pan glued in. Earlier this evening I got the body glued to the chassis. So I had to do a mock up with the potential tire-wheel combination. It does sit rather level but it is AWD. What do y’all think?? Keep smiling. 1
alan barton Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Wow, talk about 10ilbs of potatoes in a 5 lb bag! The 38 hood sides are a very interesting touch. It will be nice if you can get the nose down a fraction, for all us old hot rodders but if not, like you say, it is all wheel drive! Cheers Alan
Paul Payne Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Actually, most hot rods in the 40's sat level. This is looking very good!
Mr. Metallic Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 This is coming along really nicely. I have mocked up those same wheels along side 32 fords so many times because I love that wheel/tire package, but could never make them look right. They look great on yours though, i wonder if the extended wheelbase has something to do with it?

They made the difference on the Saltster -KK Saltster Rims - Front & Back

They made the difference on the Saltster -KK thanks for the compliments guys, here lately it has been a series of small but Annoying frustrations. But I think I was getting over that part now. I should be posting an update here real soon
carnut Posted May 31, 2021 Author Posted May 31, 2021 Okay, here is where I’m at on this, the radiator got mounted, but I spent 3 days trying to get the lower radiator hose connected. The upper radiator hose was easier to put in. Steering column and steering box had to go in next and that was another two days of frustration but all is in now and it fits pretty good.
carnut Posted May 31, 2021 Author Posted May 31, 2021 Update: I spent the time Monday afternoon getting the wheels and tires together and mounted. More details are to still yet to be done but it’s looking promising. I’m living with the stance. Thanks for all the comments guys. 1
carnut Posted August 2, 2021 Author Posted August 2, 2021 My apologies for not getting back to this I’ve been rather busy on other projects and work. I finally got a support bracket for the transfer case made and the exhaust is in. I tried various ways and designs and none worked. A good friend on this board Exotics Builder helped me out tremendously. Now on to the headlights and other finishing touches. Cheers. 1
carnut Posted August 9, 2021 Author Posted August 9, 2021 Update: 1932 Ford AWD is complete. I’ll be posting in the finished section.
