Here’s a old 1/43 AMT Fruehauf Exterior Post Van I’ll be working on. The decals were Custom made by me many years ago.

Nice progress looking forward to seeing you finish.

Thanks for the complement it shouldn’t take long just a few more decals and add the wheels

Looks brilliant!  I love the old ali vans. It's all GRP now isn't it? Looks like AMT did quite a 1/43 range in the day. I've only ever seen the  359 Pete and KW cabover.

I dug this one out this evening going to try to finish this one also soon.

I replaced the 10 Hole Alcoa wheels for the spoke wheels out of the Kenworth K-100 Cabover truck. Over the years I’ve lost the inter wheels and had to replace them from my parts box.

Those decals would have not been easy, over all that ribbing - dead straight and all tucked in along the edges - perfect!

Your so right Brian. I Custom made these years ago I’m glad I used some quality decal paper. It took some time for each side I cut them in half so they were more manageable. Thanks for stopping by and your nice complement.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this one finished. I do love exterior post vans.

Thanks Steve for stopping by. I know you like those Post vans I almost made this a roll up door line your 1/32 you did but I already put the doors on. Maybe the next one coming up I will. I’m just going to use the AMT Doubles instructions to do it but scale it to 1/43. Yes it will be finished soon.

Work on the Van Trailer a little this afternoon painted the wheels and thought I would try what I learned years ago from the Millitary Modelers I use to hang around. I used Cocktail sticks with Silly Putty on the end to hold the wheels in place. After painting just roll the silly putty around in your hands until the paint disappears and your set to use it again. More updates tomorrow.
