Seeing as the roof clips on I decided to paint it as an accessory to the kit. Popped it on to see what it looks like and it's pretty sweet, though I think I still prefer the convertible boot. I had to cut the locating tabs off the rear glass, otherwise I'd have to unscrew the chassis to fit it. It doesn't need them as the glass is glued to the headlining and is a nice fit when the roof is clipped in.

Stunning paint! Clear parts look so clean as well.

Thanks, Chang. Yes, the clear parts are very crisp, it's a very good kit. Will definitely be getting a couple more of these!

Thanks, Tom. I often wonder what it would have been like to take a driving test in the late fifties, the smallest car would have been something like a mid 50's Bel Air. To us in the UK even those are massive cars! I took my test in a 1980 Nissan Sunny.

A rung above me, I did mine in an Austin A30 LOL, and it was easy back then, I lived a bit out of town, the cop told me to drive to the end of the street - alone, and back. He wrote out a receipt for, I think it was ten shillings back then, and I had a licence.😁 My how times have changed! Nice build, great finish. Hope mine looks that good.
