Modlbldr Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Can anyone identify which kit these two interior buckets come from? Thanks in advance. Later-
Oldcarfan27 Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 (edited) Tbird? Guessing from the console. Possibly, Mopar. Judging by the upholstery pattern. Edited April 8, 2021 by Oldcarfan27
Mark Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 The one with the bucket seats molded in will be for a T-Bird, '61-63 (most likely '63). The other one is '64 or '65 Falcon, not sure which right now.

Modlbldr Posted April 8, 2021 Author Posted April 8, 2021 Thanks guys. My guess on the one being a Tbird sounds right. The other I would not have known it was for a falcon. Great! Thanks. Later-
keyser Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 (edited) The console in the TBird is giveaway. 64-66 had upper seats curve around corner. Always thought swing away wheel in scale was cool The Falcon is probably a 64-5, as that’s Falcon emblem on rear seats. The 63 Sprint has diff interior and I’ve not seen one in white, Craftsman only. Top bow quarters make it 64-5 as no others had convertible versions save 63, and it had boot tab holes too. Mark, you ever see a white 63 Craftsman Falcon cvt? Edited April 8, 2021 by keyser
Motor City Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 The first tub is definitely an AMT '63 Thunderbird. The seat pattern is different from the '61-'62, and it matches the interior tub in my '63 hardtop kit. The hardtop and convertible used the same tub based on my examination of my '62 convertible. The second tub matches the interior on my '64 Falcon hardtop promo. I couldn't find my '65 Falcon. I know people on this forum sometimes comment on the convertible tub being used on the hardtop kits and promos, so I imagine that's also the case with the Falcon sharing the same tub on both body styles. I am continually amazed by the knowledge on this forum!
