Weighted tires are not something seen very often but I think it's a good look. How do you make your tires look weighted ie: slight bulge on the side and a little more contact on the tire.

I think most folks just sand a bit of a flat spot on the bottom. I have done it and it looks good. I don’t know how you would  go about getting a bulge in there too?

I've only done it once to date and it just involved shaving a little off of the bottom of the tire.

This technique is called "flat spotting" and is frequently used in aviation modeling.

I imagine that it will not work well on a hollow tire, but it's relatively simple on a solid tire.

As far as getting a realistic looking bulge, your guess is as good as mine.

You could press them against a flat heated surface and hold them until they melt enough for that "weighted" look.  An old clothes iron works for that.  Just don't use your or spouse's "good" clothes iron.  You can often find clothes irons in thrift stores or flea markets for just couple of dollars.

These are some good ideas I also need to remember, a cool extra detail.

I do know that Chief Joseph makes some truck tires that are weighted.
