Johnny Crawford gone at 75 - April 29,2021

John "Johnny" Crawford was first a Mouseketeer, then became  Mark McCain on the rifleman, he was an actor singer, Musician, and band leader.

Wow, didn't know he was so talented. Just remember him from the old days of the Rifleman. As I get older I think 75 is too young.

I had no idea he did all of that. I was wondering why I never seen in other shows.

I use to watch the Rifleman I believe on Saturday mornings when I was a kid.  I do think 75 is too young to die. I never seen him in any other shows that I can remember...

He Guest stared on; Mr Ed, Little house , murder she wrote, the big valley, Donna reed, Hawaii 5-O, and was a young man John Wayne shot in the Movie El dorado. Plus he made a gust appearance in one on the Kenny Rogers  Gambler movies Playing Mark McCain. That movie also had Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain, and Gene Barry as Bat Masterson.

I have the Gambler dvd and I must not of recognized him same with El dorado...Thanks

Johnny was also a pretty good rodeo cowboy and was known for his rope tricks.

I am sorry to hear this. My mother liked him so much on that show that she named my youngest brother "Mark".

His face, you could totally recognize him as that same kid.
