AMT 1963 Impala kit bashed with Lindberg 1961 Impala

I wanted a full detail chassis under the recently re issued  AMT '63 Impala. So I used the '61 Impala (Lindberg ) for the complete chassis  and engine. plus used the inner fender well's from the '61 as well.

Looks nice! I have never built the '63 or the '61 in any version. The color really suits the car.

Great choice of color, that really is a perfect blue for the '63. I'm partial to these cars as my first car was a '63 Biscayne with a zillion miles on the 283, and it still ran like a sewing machine! Mine never looked this nice. I've got an AMT '62 chassis put aside for my next '63 build.
