Chris Smith Posted August 21, 2021 Author Posted August 21, 2021 Fuel cell and partially plumbed, need to get the x bracing installed to finish the plumbing. Getting there, almost done with the chassis. 1
Chris Smith Posted August 26, 2021 Author Posted August 26, 2021 (edited) I have been a little busy... I completed the oil coolers, air jacks and wheels and tires. the wheels are about 200 individual pieces ??? One more item, then the chassis is complete Edited August 26, 2021 by Chris Smith 1
Kingslug Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 This is incredible. I watched some vids about their factory and how they make these models..but watching one being built! These make Pocher models look..well not as good. This to me is the epitome of model making short of scratch building an entire one. Great work!

Chris Smith Posted August 28, 2021 Author Posted August 28, 2021 Chassis is complete!! Great milestone, on to the body. Also my quality control officer wanted to make an appearance!

A very good friend of Mark and I , his name is Steve, said to me, “ I suck” when I won some awards at a IPMS contest. But it was in fun as Steve is a great builder. So our club has adopted the saying “ you suck” if your kicking everyone’s rear end.
Chris Smith Posted September 14, 2021 Author Posted September 14, 2021 Not much to show. Lots of sanding, cleaning and priming, getting close for paint
Kingslug Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Its a shame you have to cover all that up with a body!
4mula1fan Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Incredible build! Those MFH kits have had my head spinning for some time. Just have to decide if the tail chewing will be worth it. I think it might be.

Codi Posted September 15, 2021 Posted September 15, 2021 With the body, without the body.....I don't care..........I love the whole build Chris. The details of the chassis engine in your most recent pics are outstanding. With the body in primer you can envision the whole thing now and it's fantastic! kudos! tim
