shucky Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 Hi folks, I saw the artist post pics of this on Instagram a couple months back and drooled all over it. I wished I had a 3D printer to print it myself, but as luck would have it, a company in Canada snatched up the file and had at it. They changed the engine from a 4 cylinder to an RB26 (Skyline engine) transverse mounted in the back and the print quality and packaging is superb. I'm beyond happy with the purchase.
misterNNL Posted June 23, 2021 Posted June 23, 2021 This tech looks very promising for totally unique models.
my66s55 Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 (edited) What? No lines? no need to use filler primer to make it usable? No sanding? Understand people. This is the reality of 3d printing today. It's not going to decay in a few years. It's here and now. Edited June 26, 2021 by my66s55
Bill Eh? Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 Mike I'm curious. The box says "Transkit". Is a donor kit required, and if so, which one?
