Ok so I'm working on a model I started some 21 years ago and I'm thinking of giving it a Rat Rod look by just painting a flat black with red stock type wheels and then adding some BMF and calling it done! Or keep working on it and putting a nice two tone paint job on it.

Oh wow, nice job, Im not much into rat rod's but I think I would go that way, but then again, a full on kustom would be hot too, any whitch way you go it will be kewl I'm sure...

From my perspective anything you put 21 years into deserves a bit more love than a flat black paint job. You can still go old school with it, but let that baby shine.

Yeah you guys are right and after I took those photos and kept looking at it I think I'll all the way with it and put a real nice paint job on it. At the time I started working on it I had put a small TV in the dash and was going 2 tone inside & out.

Thanks for the input guys and I'll post more photos of it as I go.

I've seen this one with my own eyes and can say that this car is Beautiful. The work he put into the chop and the paint is all class. I give him some razz being my buddy and all but this kind of build makes me look up to him as a builder. Now Marty take that to Good Guys!

Thanks for the replies guys!! You are all way too kind!! I don't feel it's my best job because it does have problem spots that came up after I got it painted and I wasn't about to redo so I left it as is.

Here is a front shot of it and I'll post more photo's "Under Glass" tomorrow.

I got the same amt kit that I was going to build stock but the origianl holes for the stock headlights were malformed so I glued on the custom parts and didnt get any farther than that cause I had a mental block about the kit,but seeing how yours turned out Im thinking around the same lines but a deep rich burple for it now.
