larman Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Wow. Great pics! I thought these were a lot more modified than they are.
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 (edited) Nice car... ...but as-raced, the ride height was considerably lower: Edited July 10, 2021 by Ace-Garageguy
Foghorn Leghorn Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 How many remember that the father of Roger Penske's first ex-wife fronted him the stake to buy his first car dealership? Not many, i'll wager.
BlackSheep214 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 That would be an awesome kit to build. Or at least a decal set and yellow line tires too.
gtx6970 Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 (edited) Something Ive always wondered about these cars . Did they start off as a body in white? Or A running driving car ? Meaning do they have a GM assigned vin Edited July 10, 2021 by gtx6970

Meaning do they have a GM assigned vin 7N163378 is a partial VIN, so it appears that this one was an actual car at one time. Add 1243 to the beginning and you have the complete VIN. I have heard that the first two 69 Trans Am Mustangs started life as 351-powered standard fastbacks, not Boss 302s. Edited July 10, 2021 by Rodent

So does this tell you its a real 67 Z28 ,,,,If so thats one rare bird , even back then

A Norwood built V8 67 Camaro coupe is all the VIN would say. GM didn't include engine info in the VIN until 1972, other than 6 or V8 model.
