Smitty Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 You did a beautiful job on your Dodge! Very clean execution with great attention to detail and basic modelling techniques. Super paint job too! I'm very impressed by your use of Alclad for the chrome. It looks much more realistic than the kit chrome would have in my opinion. You've really inspired me to give it a try on my next model. When you're under the hood installing that master cylinder, maybe you could toss a battery in there too! (Sorry, I don't mean to be a wiseguy!)
asfastasu Posted August 30, 2021 Author Posted August 30, 2021 Thanks again guys. Yeah, I should put a battery in it, but I'm afraid I'm resting on my laurels......lol
bogger44 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 That is a stunner! That grille is a work of art. Beautiful build, would love to see it again after the couple of missing pieces are added.

Chariots of Fire Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 That is a super clean build!!! I love the paint scheme and shade of green. Wonderful combination. Outstanding results!
mk11 Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Wow! Nicest example I've seen of that one yet. Crisp and realistic.
David G. Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 Excellent color choice, good clean build, nicely detailed. Well Done! Could easily be photographed to pass for the real thing. David G.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 I’m a Mopar fan myself! I like everything about this one! The color choice is excellent! Nice work!
happy grumpy Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 agreed with all of the above. The colors are out of showroom floor. Truly a beautiful rendition of this venerable pick up. I am also a big Mopar fan
asfastasu Posted October 15, 2021 Author Posted October 15, 2021 (edited) Aw, thanks guys!!and gals?? I had alot of fun with this build. I have yet to purchase the long box version recently released, but I plan to in the future. When I do build it, I'm picturing 4x4 showroom stock. I also forgot to mention that the molded in taillights were horrible. I cut them out and added taillights from the Ramcharger kit. Edited October 15, 2021 by asfastasu
