Tamiya paint stand fix

Other than tape what the best way to fix the Tamiya paint stand from coming apart guys??

Hi Carl, I just pushed mine together rather firmly and so far it's stuck fast.

I've done that with mine David and it still managed to work its way loose eventually. I thought about taking a #61 drill bit and putting a like size brass or steel rod through the two parts.

Epoxy or super glue the rod and no more separating at the dangdest times!

My issue with it isn't the stand coming apart from the base, but the metal prongs coming out the holes lol. So far i have rubber bands holding them in and seems to work okay.

I tried the rubber bands and eventually I guess they got rotten and broke. I've since been using bread ties.
