The battery is finished with caps taken from my stash of old stock TMF allen head bolts …. Painted Tamiya signal red over primer …

Fujimi’s kits always have engine bay decals - i’ve “borrowed” the Bulkhead plate from a Daytona kit - had to do it - the plate on the Barquetta is in a prominent place on its bulkhead - couldn’t leave it off …

The fuse boxes on top of the eng compartment bulkhead have at least a dozen wires that feed into a hole on the bulkhead - using Evergreen strip and Detail Master .0075 wire - which is my goto for 24th sc electrical wire -

This bulkhead also has a device  that unlocks the trailing edge of the bonnett - i think it is attached to a release under the dash - although the release is not visible in any of the photos ….  Made this from .015 nickel silver - 2 long lengths and 2 shorter ones - and two pin holders - left and right …

The bonnett is held up by a strut that attaches to the eng compartment side panels made of nickel silver - with a donut glued to the bonnet to locate the tip of the strut - got to do the same for the trunk …

To the instr dash - which features Mike Quarterman’s great instr decals - yes - you can read the numbers on the tach - all of them - doing the switches w alu tubing, straight pins, and switches fr nickel silver-

The dashboard is formidable Andy. I like how you do it with drilling through the panel and inserting the gauges from the back side. Did the gauge rings, knobs and switches come with the kit or a different source?

Its a mash up  -   The kit included 3 frets of differing thickness - the rings are on the fret with the windscreen frames and hardware - i added my own switches and knobs made from pins, nickel, and alu - that way the smallest parts all had stems for location and strength …

The photo-etch sheet has relief etched windscreen frames - but I’ve got some 1/32 channel i’m using to replace these parts …
