Harry P. Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I suggest you give your figures a coat of flat clear... those jeans are awfully shiny!!!
diymirage Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 i like it how there is no hood but the hinges are there, makes it look very authentic
walt francis Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 I love the color but then I love yellow 57s.
CB Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I suggest you give your figures a coat of flat clear... those jeans are awfully shiny!!! That 'shine' is from rubbing the grease off their hands onto their jeans, Harry . Used to leave a spot wherever I sat . Oh man, Mj---that is sweet. Brings back memories. I had a four door 57.......uh, 40 years ago, and after blowing up the straight 6, it sat many days like yours is sitting here. Learned a lot, swapping out the 6 and putting a V8 in. Are those Astros on it? Back then, seemed most guys ran either Cragar SSs or Astros.
moparmagiclives Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Is it me or does this scream Hollywood Knights , all thats missing is a blower and smoke every time it starts. Very cool, great stance.
Joe Handley Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Sure does, and it looks like Jungle Pam approves!
MrObsessive Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Nice Dio MJ!! But why are they making that poor alien work? Yup, that's how I remember seeing most '57's back in the '70's as a teen.............now everyone seems to want one like new as they were in '57!
James Flowers Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 My Aunt drove one like it in 1965, always loved the yellow. Her ex had a body shop and built the car, had a black interior and Cragars on it . I can't remember what motor was in it but it was chromed out. Yours also reminds me of the Hot Rod Mag. car. Nice build.
hemi Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Oh man sweet looking 57,I like the crew you have working on it as well.
plastikfreek Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Love the build MJ!!! Always have been a fan of your work..........
george 53 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I gotta agree with everyone else, Mike, it came out GREAT! Funny how THAT particular shade of yellow can make a car just JUMP out attcha, innit? It looks GREAT on yours! Beautiful build Mike, looks period PERFECT!
