I like Alclad paint, have used the polished s.s. with good results.

Another option. Smooth result and very forgiving when shot through the airbrush.

If you have a pot of revell acrylic aluminum (usually free in the gift sets), adding a few drops of molotowe chrome to it works pretty well but you have to stir it more than you usually would

I’ve been curious about these paints. Do they respond to buffing at all, like some Metalizers do?

I'm not familiar with Metalizer's .

Yes the AK Extreme can be lightly buffed to enhance there appearance. Wont be a polished mirror like surface, but it does up the brightness and increase the reflectivity.
