Mopar - D
I’ve been making a little progress I’ve finished the interior and now have the fuel tanks installed. I had problems with the paint on the hood and have started painting my spare hood and should be able to paint some yellow on it today. I also narrowed the rear fenders by 3/8” they were to wide for me. Now I need to repaint them. So I’ve been working just not gaining much progress with the rework lol. tbill
She’s looking good! Gotta love the one step forward, 3 steps back when we change our mind 3/4 the way thru something, lol.
Mopar - D
I’ve been able to get the hood repainted yellow now I’m waiting on the weather to warm up again to spray the green on the fenders. Have been able to add a few more detail parts on the frame.

Mopar - D
Thanks Brian. I’m still waiting on paint to dry and the weather to warm up to finish my spraying. In the meantime I made the Super Bee Services decals and did a mock up. I’m going to scratch build headache rack with a wrench similar to the one that AITM used to sell. Thanks for everyone’s comments I appreciate them.

Awesome fab on the rack Thanks Jeff I’ve bought a wrench off eBay and should be here this week and once I have it I’ll finish building the headache rack. I was able to get some spray painting done today on the fenders and the headache rack. The parts for the lowboy should be delivered in about 2 weeks. I have the Mack DM 600 and Challenge Mixer ready to start and my steel hood parts from Gary Wallace are arriving on Tuesday.

Mopar - D
Thanks Gareth I’m waiting on the wrench to come in the mail I’m not sure of the size of it so I’m not going to do any more work on it until I have it. I’m going to paint the rest of the support bars and wrench green.

Thanks Stephen being semi retired helps to spend time building. While I’m waiting on the wrench to arrive and paint on the hood to dry I’ve started working on the Mack DM 600 steel hood Challenge mixer. I’ve got the frame together and have added 30 scale inches to it. I’m also working on the hydraulic pump on the front of the truck.

Mopar - D
I like the short ones that the DM 600 has better than the long one on the DM 800. Continued to work on the frame and wheels. I believe I have everything that will be painted the Sublime Green is on it and primed. I had to modify the rear fenders seeing that the Mack wheels are wider than the KW. After many attempts to get the hood on the KW painted with out any issues I have finely been able to get it the way it should be. Now I’m ready to clear coat the cab and hood.
