This is going to be something...someday. It's the old Revell 1/8 Chopped Hog with some parts from an Electra Glide. The Hog is just too ugly to build stock. 😜

I hear that. I have one of those old cats and there’s no way I’m gonna build it box stock! Yours looks fantastic.

First build is the AMT '66 Nova Pro street...we prefer Chevy II 'round here so I'll stick to that. :) Resin hood, wing, chin spoiler. Have big and little slots coming for it. Will have blown 572 with a hat.

'66 Chevy II Pro Mod resin body. Using the Glidden Pro Stock chassis. Ignore the scoop. It's going to be the "Nitro Nova" with a top fuel motor just for fun.

This one's been kicking around in my head for some time now. Ever since rhe whole Detroit Resin curfufle,  I managed to procure one from another member of the board. I got the inspiration for this project from these Google picture search shots. Mist of the parts will be coming from the trusty. MPC Deserter pickup. Should be a cool build!

This resin has been buried and thought about selling, but another look at became another Mopar project. Looking at making a 4x4 drive train with a 392 Hemi, resin steelies and tires. Using the fram and floor board from the AMT 53 Ford F100 and the pick up box from the Little Red truck. Thinking a very light blue white top and blue over white interior. Any ideas are welcome. The 58 Dodge has a fresh coat of primer after several modifications. I removed the hideous front fender flairs and repaired the openings with sheet plastic then added the opening lips. Fabricated a radiator support, added rear window trim and made headlights from the 53 Ford pu custom grille, which is as close to the Dodge headlights. The pu box is from the Dodge Little Red Truck and used its tail gate for the front box panel.

This will have 392 Hemi to be period correct and 4x4 drive train from the parts box. Still haven't decided on the colors  but leaning towards a 50's pastel.

Hope y'all like the progress.

Today I tried out my color combination. I'm curious what you say about it.

They are BMW Sakhir Orange and Lamborghini Grigio Lynx. Is of course still no clear coat on it.

Should I maybe make another thin line between the two colors?
