bh1701 Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 (edited) Here is my latest completion - AMT's 1/25 scale 1963 Studebaker Avanti. The exterior is Tamiya's Dark Yellow with a Clear Pearl and Clear Gloss over it. All in all, this was a nice kit. However, it did take quite a bit of work to get the doors to shut as well as they do now! All chrome trim and scripts are hand-painted. Thanks for looking, Bart Edited January 23, 2022 by bh1701 Added photo 2
cobraman Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Nice looking model. Those doors can be a real pain.
David G. Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Great detail work on the interior, good solid looking build. Nicely Done! David G.
ewetwo Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Wow. really nice. You don't see this build often.
Joe Lange Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Great build Bart! I like the color combination, and the fact you used 'whitewalls'. The AMT kit doesn't even have them! The stock Avanti just looks so much better with them.
