1/25 AMT Copperhead Rear-Engine AA Fuel Dragster

Woody Gilmore frame, same as in the Tommy Ivo dragster which was likely the first one planned, with other releases thrown in to maximize use of the tooling.

Garlits usually built the frames he used, but not always.  If I remember right, in his book he mentioned buying the ex-Jungle Jim dragster that the Attebury Brothers had built and (briefly) campaigned with JJ's name on it.

Same Frame in the Sand Dragon Dragster. The instructiions in the Sand Dragon, might show how to assemble the frame more clearly.

And it is in Both TV Tommy Ivo kits. Both the Streamliner and Conventional Rear engine kits.

And Here is the MPC Don Garlits "Swamp Rat 1-R" Dragster. Looks like  the frames are a close match, in real life, but AMT and MPC tooled them differently.
