Getting this one back together after 15 years of sitting in shoe box. Kept the green windows and headlights. Used MPC Mack fenders in rear. Can't find battery step, passenger side body extension and the front fender reflectors. Unknown front bumper I grabbed out of the parts box.

I have one of the originals, my first big truck build.  I've thought of doing a rebuild like you did but something in me says to keep it the way it is, warts and all.  Seeing your re-build makes me think I may have a go at mine.  Well done!

Green headlights? I've heard about the green windshield and  green side  glass to represent  the era tinted windows on this first kits, but  green headlights too?.

Yes, the entire 'glass' tree was green including the running light lenses. If anyone has the battery step, front fender side reflectors, and the passenger side lower body extension and want to part with them I'm interested.
