I liked trying to guess the date that some of the pictures were taken. I would look for the newest car in the picture and go by that. I admit to recognizing the local of some of the pictures since I had either been there before or even in areas that I had lived at one time. Most of the pictures predate my time but others bring back childhood memories.

Besides being a source for pix, it's also a goldmine of info on period rods and mods.

Many of the guys know their stuff well...and the posers don't get much slack.

If you're looking at the Vintage Photos site I attached, you've got quite a ways to go...

6712 pages before they locked it down!

But it's all gold for reliving the past.
