vamach1
Looks like you are almost done with this one. Do you have somewhere to display it? It’s a big kit. I noticed there are lights underneath the bumper (which are not on the real cars). As the reverse lights are part of the taillights, I wonder if that was a Japanese thing or if they assumed the real car had separate lights like the 65-70 Mustangs. cobraman
Yes Rex, this was finished a long time ago.I'm surprised these photos are still listed. The finished ones I posted were removed due to the pad I had taken the photos on. Like these pics the pad has the second amendment on it which I was told violated the rules on Political speech. They were right to remove them as I did violate the rules. I never even had thought about it. I was told I could re-post the photos but opted to not only because I got it squeezed into one of my display cabinets and didn't want to bother. The lights I am not sure about. So they are not on a US Mustang ?

I guess the Japanese required amber colored rear turn signals as seen in this picture of the 429 Mach1 that was exported. It would have been more expensive to redo the stock taillights so I guess this was the solution they came up with. Anyway, glad to hear you finished the kit and have moved on to the 1/12 GT40.
