I like using artist oils and Japan drier to help them dry. Also get you some pastel chalks. Good weathering!! Thanks for the info man.

David G. Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 Excellent weathering, very convincing! The tow rig looks great too along with all the kit in the back. David G.

Raoul Ross Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 (edited) Hey Zippi, the weathering looks awesome but I'd like to see more pix of how you did the rear end to accept those duallies. Also, did you do anything different to the front end or is it just the different wheels/tires up front that make it stand up more? I'm hoping to do something along the same lines on the 3100 I picked up. Great Job, Thanx! Edited June 27, 2022 by Raoul Ross grammor

The front end is stock except for the wheels and tires. On the dual wheels on the back I had to shave a little off the chassis for the inner wheels to clear. The outer wheels are in the stock location. The wheels & tires are out of the parts box.
Zippi Posted July 31, 2022 Author Posted July 31, 2022 Ok fellows, I haven't forgotten about the 50 Chevy Dually Shop truck. I have it back on the bench. I got the glass installed and the front end all back together. Looking to finish it in a week or so.
