Looks very nice. Hardly notice that the top is no longer removable. I hav one in the stash that is warped bad. May have to make it a hard top.

Ah yes, the absent mirrors. I do have the ones from the deserter kit that I am considering modifying to fit. That would fit in the “later” category. I’d sure love to see an all new,  modern tooling of these trucks. I know it won’t happen, but a guy can hope…

Thanks for for following along on the WIP Greg, I will keep checking in on yours and learn all the things I should have done! My desk is now in total disarray as I accumulate parts and pieces for the next build.

Hi Randy, thanks for having a look. I have 5 versions of this kit and every one had a badly warped top. I really wanted the top on, so I decided to make it a “hardtop”.  The top did require some slight reshaping to fit properly, but fairly simple.
