ea0863 Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 It came out wonderful. I particularly like the shades of red and black on the interior. 1
Bills72sj Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 I think you a very admirable result. Another technique you might want to experiment with is to BMF foil scripts/emblems BEFORE paint then reveal the letters/highlights with light sanding and/or solvent on a thin cloth.
70 Sting Posted May 14, 2022 Author Posted May 14, 2022 @Bills72sj Interesting technique. So would you apply the foil, burnish it down then trim off as much as you can around the outer edges?

Koellefornia Kid Posted May 15, 2022 Posted May 15, 2022 One very nice looking T-Bird! Really dig those wheels and the super smooth paint job! 1
Zippi Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 Nice looking Thunderbird. I like the stance and the wheels and tires really fit this car. Can't go wrong with black and red. 1
70 Sting Posted May 16, 2022 Author Posted May 16, 2022 @Koellefornia Kid @Zippi I was quite pleased with the Fujimi wheels. The fronts fit inside the wheel wells - no problem. Just had to file down rears about 1 to 2mm.
