Eons ago, in a spacetime continuum far far away, we had a term "A-line drift", meaning that under the right circumstances it was possible to slip from one line of alternate probability to another. I musta drifted myself somewhere along the line, as I'm unable to find anyone who's ever heard the phrase, and I lost several days, a wad of money, and a car that just vanished without a trace.
