Lobo2me Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 Claude...you kill me! This is nuts!!! Very cool, up to date, and very well done. Drifting while hanging on to that steering wheel reminds me of driving the porcelain bus when I was learning to drink!
Scott Colmer Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 Excellent concept, Claude. You seem to have no end to your creativity. Outside of the box?.... There was a box? Also, great faux wood and texture on the top as well. Keep 'em coming! Scott

You're obviously not the type of guy to throw away an old model that's collecting dust, that gives you the honorable title of Styrene's savior of the year! This unusual vehicle may be street legal south of the border but it would not pass the test in Quebec. Luckily, styrene and Claude are there to remedy this situation. ? Bravo my friend, nothing can surprise me anymore from you but you may have something else up your sleeve so I'm going to mentally prepare myself for your next opus (don't see any pressure here...). ? From an anonymous admirer. ? Hello Mister Anonymous Admirer! Thanks for the compliments. But be it known that I started from a new kit, that I found for cheap. My original one from the early 70's was long gone, thanks to the yearly spring floods of the Chaudière river. Now, I'm working on a couple of projects that may make you smile, one of which is a Javelin funny-car glue bomb that I'm "updating". Stay tuned! CT

As you know, I love your builds and the imagination used to pull off these masterpieces. This one…. WICKED!! What a creative update for this kit, with your usual clean execution, and sense of humour. I have to think that this one made you smile while you were building it? I love the whole thing, but what really stands out is the beautiful paint to create the “woodwork”. Amazing! Another beauty my friend. Cheers, Steve Hi Steve! Thanks for the compliments. Truth be told, your own Mystery Van reminded me that smiling while building a model is still very much allowed, and should be something we shoot for! So, this old standard, less stage coach and more contemporary, struck me as a possibility. I must confess that I'm not certain that I would have the cojones to induce it into a drift. Getting older by the minute... Keep at it! CT

mvadrag Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 I picked up a built Boothill Express at a swap meet for $5 to steal the wheels and tires, but this gives me a good idea for what to do with the rest of it! The steering column is linked to a R&P steering. Gummy tires. And lower the whole thing as much as possible. Great imagination!
