drodg Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 Very sharp. Beautiful execution. I have a place in my heart for the 62 Chrysler as I had an uncle who had a new 62 Newport.
alan barton Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 I've always had a soft spot for wagons, having spent the formative years of my life in the back of one but wow, this is so NICE! I might have to copy this colour scheme for one of my own! Cheers Alan

The colors ... err...colours(!) .... were special order paints from MCW, referenced with the Chrysler factory paint codes. Not sure about overseas shipping of airbrush paints, though. You could probably approximate both colors with some judicious combining/mixing of decanted Tamiya aerosol paints.... Cheers, Mate....TB
Plowboy Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Very nicely done Tim! Those subtle colors go together perfectly! Then the wheels and tires just make it that much better! BTW, those aren't from the Alternomad as it has same size front and rear with curved spokes.

Hmmm on those wheels and tires....once again, apparently my memory these days is not so good. My next guess would be the first "2 in 1" kit version of the 1959 Corvette from Revell-Monogram. Will need to check that out next time I go to the storage unit.... Best...TB
