Ace-Garageguy Posted Monday at 09:06 PM Posted Monday at 09:06 PM Flavor enhancer MSG is claimed to cause headaches and other adverse reactions by some people, and has fallen out of favor somewhat as a result.
LennyB Posted Monday at 09:13 PM Posted Monday at 09:13 PM Results were in and the tortoise beat the rabbit by a hare. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted Monday at 11:44 PM Posted Monday at 11:44 PM Hare-brained schemes abound at even the highest levels of industry and gubmint, among people who don't posses particularly impressive critical thinking skills. 2
LennyB Posted yesterday at 12:20 AM Posted yesterday at 12:20 AM (edited) Skills these days required to climb the corporate ladder include who you know, who you pay off and who you mess around with in the dark, they have nothing whatsoever to do with real talent. Edited yesterday at 12:20 AM by LennyB typo 2
slusher Posted yesterday at 03:50 AM Posted yesterday at 03:50 AM Talent in my opinion is not what was 40 years ago when it comes to acting and singing.. 1
NOBLNG Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago Singing is not what I would call what is being recorded by some bands. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Bands of red-(touches) yellow-black colors identify a venomous coral snake in the US, but a similar red-(touches) black-yellow is probably a non-venomous king snake.
JollySipper Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Snake identification is a good skill to have, especially if you live 'out in the country...............'
Ace-Garageguy Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Country living appeals to my preference for privacy, the farther from 'civilization', the better.
Rob Hall Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Better for me is to be close to my doctors and civilization--a variety of groceries, restaurants, etc all within 10-15 minutes.
Ace-Garageguy Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Minutes pass like hours when you're waiting for the results of a biopsy, but it's a good time to reflect on the fact that nobody gets out of here alive... so make the best of whatcha got. thatz4u Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Got to Get You Into My Life, recorded by the Beatles on the Revolver album in the 1970's, remastered in 2009. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) "2009" in the post above ends another string of words that IS NOT A SENTENCE, and if it's so difficult, apparently, I can only wonder how an elementary school child is expected to be able to grasp the definition of the one word that encompasses the only rule of this game. LennyB Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Game Play seems to have gone out the window here and the rules followed along behind it, now they are both lying outside smoldering on the ground and will soon become the ashes of yesterday's intelligence which alas is no more to be found.
Ace-Garageguy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) 'Found objects' are often conglomerated into ugly arrangements of what is essentially trash glued to a board, and labeled oh-so-pretentiously as 'art', requiring neither talent nor skill. Edited 4 hours ago by Ace-Garageguy
LennyB Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Skill saw sound you hear in the background is Andy Warhol coming back to life to obliterate that last sentence. Edited 4 hours ago by LennyB 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Sentence after sentence describing my lack of respect for a lot of the garbage that gets hailed as "art" these days, when plugged in to the AI for comment, results in it explaining to me how ignorant I am because I won't ooh and ahh with appreciation for the artistic merit of vomit and used toilet paper on a plate, sealed in clear resin.
