Classicgas Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Child is a great description of those that feel the need to tout their vastly superior knowledge.
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Knowledge isn't for everyone, obviously, especially those who seem to be proud of their ignorance and resent anyone who doesn't see ignorance as a virtue.
Classicgas Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Virtue when one has it doesn't make one better than someone else, after all this stupid thread is just a game and people should remember that and just lighten up and not feel they need to be grammar police.
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) Police of "Lighten Up, rules don't matter and certainly don't apply to everyone equally" have spoken. Edited April 4, 2023 by Ace-Garageguy
NOBLNG Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) Spoken is a word that I can’t start a sentence with right now because I haven’t had my coffee yet, and I tried to start a sentence using a word from the previous page that ended in “locked”.? Edited April 4, 2023 by NOBLNG
Classicgas Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Locked would be unfortunate, let's try to have fun, not pick everything to death that you don't like.
NOBLNG Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 Like I said, I haven’t had my morning coffee, and yes, lets not quibble.
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 "Quibble and Bitch" would be a good name for a word game...but we'll need some truly arcane rules.
Classicgas Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Rules were meant to be broken. (No hard feelings Bill, just having fun with you) 1
NOBLNG Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 Broken yolks are the only way my wife can manage to cook eggs. 1

Ace-Garageguy Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Family are the people you're stuck with, while friends are people you choose; choose wisely.
jphillips1970 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 so, is it correct to say that the next posting sentence would require the post to begin with the following word or beginning sentence with the first word - "post"
Classicgas Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Joe, you begin your sentence with the last word the previous poster used.

Make sure you're on the very last post before you respond.
jphillips1970 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 or should we use the word " wisely" considering that was the last word posted before mine or do we consider the possibility that the correct word would remain " post "

It's pretty easy to grasp.
jphillips1970 Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 knowledge is not given - it's learned over years of trial and error - or at least that is my understanding that knowledge can create a person's prospective on his or her's surroundings and guide them in life
