The body color is superb and with the red interior, the combo is perfect ! I notice the return of the green air valve caps, the good habits come back at a gallop ! As Scott mentioned before me, the license plate is well hidden, not sure if it's legal but it would be illegal to taint this beautiful design with an administrative formality... an elegant way to comply with the law... ? Another home run my friend, are you taking steroids by the way? ? Hi Francis! Thanks for the comments. Indeed, the green air valve caps are back! To your point about the licence plate: many smooth look rods have a "tilt-down" electric plate holder that shows the plate only when the car is running. Therefore, I modeled it in the "retracted" position. Allows a better view of the IRS. And keep quiet: my wife doesn't know I keep this production pace with steroids. Don't blow my cover... LOL CT

As for Mr. Coddington, he had a few financial tribulations that left some "holding the bag" as we often say. Movers and shakers? It comes with the territory, I guess... CT

WELL done! cheers, tim Hi Tim! Happy you like them both. The 38 is just a curbside, however. The 1/1 car owner wanted a "copy" for his grandson. To this day, I wonder if it still exists, or if it was used to play with. But grandpa wanted one, and "the customer is always right" as they say. Besides, building his 1/1 street rod was fun, so... Indeed, this Tamya gold is very bright... and expensive! 29$ Canadian for a 100ml spray can. To my knowledge, it is the most expensive in all the Tamya TS line-up. But it pops! CT

Lobo2me Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 As usual, you've created another work of art. A Coddington / OZE inspired rod will be my next victim. Now where to start....? Thanks for sharing, excellent work!

A Coddington / OZE inspired rod will be my next victim. Now where to start....? Thanks for sharing, excellent work! Hi Steve! Thanks for the comments. The owner of OZE Rod Shop, Renaud Gagnon, is a very good friend. His kits were way ahead of the market, quality wise. As a matter of fact, Renaud had developped the molds for Coat to Coast and Wild Rod Factory, prior to starting his own venture, OZE (the 3 manufacturers were within 30 miles from my home...). Of course, he integrated all he had learned in his magnum opus, i.e. OZE. At some point, I was negociating on his behalf with the late Mr. Coddington, who was contemplating having his line of Boydster 'glass car manufactured by Renaud. Ultimately, he struck a deal with an Australian concern. I'm certain you'll have fun building your project. Keep me posted! Regards, CT
