Zippi
I came across this website a while back and couldn't believe the prices of these metal engine. These metal engine are cheaper than a resin engine with all the accessories. Anyone bought one of these engines that could tell us about the quality? https://scalereprosplus.com

Oldmopars
I'm not sure how he is making any profit off of those with those prices.
Rocking Rodney Rat
My experience with pewter (white metal? a few other terms for that?) parts is that they are cast and need a LOT of work to make them look good. It would be very interesting to see what those parts look like right out of the mold. That might temper some of the excitement. Small parts are very delicate to work with. There was a guy in the Pacific NW that made metal parts (I forget the company name now) and the parts were pretty rough and required a lot of finishing. My $.02 and worth both pennies.... -RRR

I am sure he's making money but not for the time spent. I would rather spend time with my family than the time it would take to make one of those. If it's all cast then I guess not as much time as machined but still your figuring probably an hour or two work all said and done for maybe 5-10 bucks profit. Sorry but my time is worth more than minimum wage.
