Bronzekeg Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 this is my 2nd go around with this kit. the previous build is about 35 years old. also pictured is the bronze color I hope to use except with a tan interior. as always c&c are welcome and thanks for looking. 1
espo Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 The Yellow convertible looks great. What color did you use for the Charger?
bisc63 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 My first thoughts were stated by espo! I'm curious about both paints, though. Beautiful colors, and nicely applied!
Mopar - D Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Ken looks like you had to tow your old GTX in from storage lol. Still looking good for being 35 years old! Looking forward to seeing what you do with the new one. By the way I’m also starting on a 71 GTX.
dsummone Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Recently finished that one. I’m curious, is your hood warped badly? Mine was a nightmare. 1

I'm a big fan of browns. 1

Bronzekeg Posted August 19, 2022 Author Posted August 19, 2022 other than misting with dull coat I'm calling the basic interior done. I tested the bronze paint for the body and it bubbled with clear. so I'm stuck with plan B for that. 1
Mopar - D Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Nice interior Ken. I know how you feel with your paint bubbling up I had the same problem with my second coat on the Charger.

Bronzekeg Posted August 20, 2022 Author Posted August 20, 2022 chassis has been started and the interior has been misted with dull coat. 2
slusher Posted August 21, 2022 Posted August 21, 2022 Beautiful color choices! What color is the interior??

Bronzekeg Posted August 23, 2022 Author Posted August 23, 2022 I got the hood stripes painted on and the rear suspension done. bmf for the side trim has been ordered. 5
Mopar - D Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Ken those stripes really tie these colors together. Very sharp looking.
