m3fan
Good Day, Does anyone know if this particular grill was ever made in kit form?
deuces wild
Probably not....
gman
If memory serves correctly, the 80's issue Monogram 32 Ford roadster kit (the earlier version that retained the up top) had an unplated winter grille on the parts tree.
gman
My bad- it wasn't the winter grille, but a custom grille carried over from the Little Deuce version (gone in the most recent versions of that kit).

I was trying to convince @Spex84Β to try designing one for 3D printing but he's right, because those slats are so thin it probably wouldn't print well. Vintage AMT
This is the closest one I've come across.

I don't remember that conversation at all ππ Looking at it again...it wouldn't fly at Shapeways, but I bet an independent model-printer could do it. I've seen some incredibly delicate stuff printed lately. I have a lot of other projects on the go, so I probably won't get to it soon, I'm afraid. paul alflen
Vintage Amt, while that might be the right grill , it is in the wrong scale. That kit is closer to 1/16 or 1/20th scale. The part could be scanned and reduced to 1/25th or 1/ 24 scale though.
