Just got an ad from DMW advertising a new (to me, anyway) Motormax 1/24 Aston-Martin DB5. Not a horrible price by today's standards. Anyone ever seen one of these?

They're also doing the Mustangs from Goldfinger and Diamonds are Forever. I'm hoping they sell well enough that we may finally see a Vanquish or DB10 in 1/24 scale.

Checking my list, I see I have a 2012 Aston-Martin Vanquish in maroon. Probably made by Welly.  Also have a DB9 (2010?).

The Motormax "James Bond" '64 Mustang seems to be priced a few dollars higher than the last issue of it I saw. 007 licensing, or just inflation?

Thanks to Snake's tip, I just received the Motormax Bond Aston Martin DB5.  The doors open and the roof hatch is removeable but that is it.  The wire wheels are not bad actually.  But look at the headlamps.  I am disappointed with them.

Here is a comparison with the Danbury Mint DB5.

There is also a stock version available in British Racing green or in a shade of metllic gold, Gary. I was tempted first, but refused to buy, as I also have the Danbury Mint version in Metallic Red.

Here are the colors:

That looks pretty good, Gary! Thanks to you and Snake for sharing. My first thought was, what if you combined one of these with parts from an Aurora DB4. I've got a Doyusha DB5 already, but I think I'll go ahead and pick up one of the green Motormax versions too.
