I've recently posted finished pics of this build in the finished channel, but thought I'd share some in-progress I took along the way. The cab is chopped and channeled, front fenders are narrowed, bed is shortened with repositioned rear fenders, filled tailgate with sunken license, all fenders smoothed and filled, widened 48 Ford passenger car hood. Scratch built bed cover, front/rear gravel pans, exhaust pipes, and fender skirts. Pleats and piping were added to the interior seat and bed cover using half round styrene rod and spark plug wire. Paint is Testors metallic gold under satin clear, pearl white used for the interior and bed cover. Parts box tail lights, dummy spotlights, 56 chevy steering wheel, and ribbed bumpers from the Revell 48 ford sedan complete this build:

Thanks for the WIP pics!

I hadn't noticed the pinched fenders or fully grasped the difference the passenger car hood made to the overall look, but the WIP shots make it clear. While the look is solidly "traditional" the body modification choices are timelessly stylish. Good stuff ?
