Great paint job, best shine! And no polishing required?!! Foiling looks good too. I know that feeling when it comes to foil (and decals btw...) This is going to be a beautiful build.?

Thank you Andy. The paint jobs come out pretty clean, because they dry really fast. Around 2-3 minutes it starts a skim coat meaning the surface is starting to dry . This is really critical for dust. If dust lands on it, it just blows off. But if dust lands on it in the small time window, you have to buff it out. I use automotive clear urethane. It’s kind of expensive but the results are amazing.

Month ago bought this at my local automotive paint supply. Can be buff in 30 mins that’s ideal for fast jobs and almost every time dry without any dust.

btw that camaro paint job is amazing as well as the build!

never catch who makes the wheels? Are that the kits wheels?

Thank you Pierre, yes that clear works good also, the wheels are scale Motorsport. The tires are from the amt 68 Z28 kit.

Engine is glued in. Fits nice. Not a lot of detail. Just plug wires. So far a pretty nice kit from revell. This was supposed to be just an experiment for the new clear I just received. Not a total build. The color and the wheels and tires just looked right so I have to build it. I used a mad modeling distributor and wire set. A was a little lazy to do my own wiring.

My new exhaust. Using part 1968 amt camaro exhaust and the muffler’s are made from evergreen tubing. Would have used the stock ones but they were chewed up by my new dog.

Foiling looks good, I'm yet to even think about trying it!

Underside looks smart and like the fact there's different shades and colours.

Glass is in! Glass is always one of those steps that can make or break the build. Not a big fan of glass installation but has to be done. I use a clear double sided tape. So if you make a mistake, you can start over without the glue - ruined glass mess, 7463DB6B-B08F-4A9D-B354-A172B845F9F2.jpeg.a311246d95bdd7b4e12c07ed582841b1.jpeg
